Cell-O-Mania

The mobile phone or mobile, also called a cellular phone, or cell phone is a long-range, portable electronic device used for mobile communication that uses a network of specialized base stations known as cell sites.In addition to the standard voice function of a telephone. current mobile phones can support many additional service such as SMS for text messaging, email, packet switching for access to the Internet, and MMS for sending and receiving photos and video. Most current mobile phones connect to a cellular network of base stations (cell sites), which is in turn interconnected to the public switched telephone network (PSTN) (the exception is satellite phones).Nokia Corporation is currently the world's largest manufacturer of mobile telephones, with a global device market share of approximately 36% in Q1 of 2007.[4] Other mobile phone manufacturers include Apple Inc., Audiovox (now UT Starcom), Benefon, BenQ-Siemens, High Tech Computer Corporation (HTC), Fujitsu, Kyocera, LG Mobile, Mitsubishi, Motorola, NEC, Neonode, Panasonic (Matsushita Electric), Pantech Curitel, Philips, Research In MotionThere are significant questions as to who first invented the camera phone, as numerous other people received patents filed in the early 1990s for the device, including David M. Britz of AT&T Research in March of 1994 and Phillipe Kahn, who claims to have first invented it in 1997.[citation needed] The camera phone now holds 85% of the mobile phone market[citation needed]. Mobile phones often have features beyond sending text messages and making voice calls, including Internet browsing, music (MP3) playback, memo recording, personal organizer functions, e-mail, instant messaging, built-in cameras and camcorders, ringtones, games, radio, Push-to-Talk (PTT), infrared and Bluetooth connectivity, call registers, ability to watch streaming video or download video for later viewing, video calling and serve as a wireless modem for a PC, and soon will also serve as a console of sorts to online games and other high quality games (e.g. Final Fantasy Agito).The mobile phone manufacturers can be grouped into two. The top five are available in practically all countries and comprise about 75% of all phones sold. A second tier of small manufacturers exists with phones mostly sold only in specific regions or for niche markets. The top five in order of market share are Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, SonyEricsson and LG.u

Winter Vacation Activities

Winter Vacation activities are;
. Field Trips
                  Kids enjoy going places, so why not use their break to take them on a variety of field trips? The Places children  enjoy are  museum, zoological park or other hands-on exhibits where they can put their minds to work in an interesting and interactive way. Other outing ideas include pottery design studios, theaters, indoor swimming pools, and indoor fun centers with inflatable bounce houses and slides.

 Make Homemade Gifts
                                           Before the holidays arrive,  children create  homemade gifts together as a family. Create a gift list and think about different items that can be made for the people on your list. Consider baking, knitting, crocheting, soap making, candle making or framing photos of your family to shower your loved ones with.
  Bake Holiday Treats
                                Kids of all ages enjoy helping in the kitchen. What could be more entertaining (and tasty) than making a few batches of your favorite cookies or holiday treats? From gingerbread men to chocolate fudge, baking holiday treats with your kids is a fun way to stay busy during the winter break.
    Take a Trip
                       Children enjoy going places like out of cities like Malaysia and hongkong and muree  etc

Participate in Community Events

Take this opportunity to discover your town. What types of events are taking place in your community? During the holiday season and especially over winter break, most communities schedule a variety of events for families in the area. In addition to events that are sponsored by your town or city, inquire about events taking place in retail locations, museums, parks and libraries. Many communities offer story time with Santa, holiday parades, arts and crafts, and other types of holiday festival

. Family Fun Nights
                                     Incorporate family fun nights into your week and plan themes accordingly. Schedule a pajama party and movie night one evening and an indoor cam pout, complete with a tent inside, another night. Not only will your children look forward to these nights over their winter break, these types of memories will be cherished forever.
  Arts and Crafts

An easy and quick way to entertain children of all ages is with arts and crafts. Keep a variety of art materials on hand that can be brought out at a moment's notice. Items can include paper, markers, paint, pens, glitter, sequins, milk jug tops, toilet paper tubes, tissue paper, wiggly eyes, feathers and glue. Let your child's imagination be the leader and see what types of things she can make.
